LightObject’s Q1600 Water Chiller offers exceptional performance, consistency, and reliability thanks to the high quality JLD612 PID-controller and our two-stage compressor system. Our unit’s feature an oversized capacitor which alleviates issues with circuit over-drawing during starting amperage that are common in other chillers.

The JD612 PID controller is capable of achieving a 0.1°C setpoint resolution and features a dual-display that shows both the setpoint and the current system temperature.  The compressor utilizes an environmentally-friendly refrigerant, R410A.

The internal pump is rated for 10 meters of lift and a flowrate of 12 Liters/min to ensure adequate circulation of water. The unit is suitable for ambient conditions up to 35°C, with a selectable cooling range of 18°C - 30°C.

    WATER CHILLER Q1600

Posted by Dave on Aug 11th 2023

I have the 5200 chillers. With that said. This unit is quiet. More stable cooling. I run it on 150w CO2 laser. Its been hooked to the new machine for 2 weeks now. It has 2 cooking fans vs the 5200 only has one. Better venting on the sides. Ive order stuff from lightobjects. Its never a problem to get a hold of them for questions or product assistances.

    Great Chiller

This chiller is fast and keeps the temp almost constant. I think it goes up one degree C and it brings it right back down again even with heavy laser use. I'm definitely a fan of this chiller and LightObject as a company.

    Quality

Posted by Brian on Apr 19th 2023

I've had the LO-1600W for over a year and it's been a quality product. At times it seems to cycle on and off and flashes EEEE on the LED screen and I"ve not found the reason for this but overall it does the job well.

    Chiller performance

Posted by John on Sep 22nd 2022

Having the Q1600 now for several months, it doens't appear to handle my 100w laser all that well. Runs constantly just to maintain the high temerpature set point when running only 60% of my tubes max power. Had some issues with the cooling cycle shutting on and off, was able to sort that out by resecurring some wires. Overall doesn't seem worth the money over a CW5000. ...........................................................................................................................<<< Replied by LO: Hi John, thank you for your review. You may want to look at a few things to solve the issue. 1) Please check the feedback value; if it was set too low, say 0.5, the chiller would kick in more often. It is a threshold number to determine how accurate water temperature is kept. I suggest you change it to 1.0 or 1.5. Second, the room temperature plays a major role in determining how often the chiller is kicking as well, especially during hot summer. FYI, the Q1600 supports up to a 200W or two 130W CO2 laser tubes running in full time. A 100W tube to the Q1600 is easy to deal with the Q1600. Another test is to lower the "Set" temperature; if the chiller can bring water to a lower temperature, it means that the chiller is full functioning . Should you have any question, please feel free to contact us. ............................................................................................................................>>>>>
