Recent Successful Repair — Dual-Gantry CO₂ Laser in Nevada
LightObject recently completed an on-site repair of a large industrial dual-gantry CO₂ laser cutting machine equipped with a Trocen TL5269 controller and CCD Vision Capture system.
The customer reported that one of the two laser systems was not functioning properly.
After a detailed inspection, our field engineer discovered that two mirror mounts had been incorrectly positioned and the laser beam had not been properly aligned during the original installation.
Rather than replacing unnecessary electronic components, we identified the actual mechanical and optical problems, corrected the mirror mounting positions, and performed the necessary laser beam alignment.
The laser system was successfully restored to operation.
This case demonstrates the importance of experienced troubleshooting. A laser that appears to have a controller or electrical problem may actually be suffering from an optical alignment or mechanical installation issue.
