Cutting stainless steel tool for bicycle on CO2 laser

A bike hub bearing remover costs 2/3 of the price of a hub bearing. It is nice if you have a hybrid laser to custom make one. This was cut out of a piece of 2mm stainless steel sheet. The cutting speed was 16mm/s on the 260W Saturn2 laser machine. Stainless steel does not melt as easily as mild steel. Using oxygen, the small 2mm teeth were in good shape.

For the male side of the bearing, we can sand two flats on the outside to use wrench. for the female side, we can cut a gear shape with a hex in the center to use Allen key.

BONUS:

CO2 laser machine can mark the bare stainless steel. A 35W laser is enough to do it. The color will be darker if we do it with higher power tube. Picture below is from SOLO2 laser machine on mirror finish stainless.
