Service call for a Kern laser

A local customer called for help with his Kern laser machine, which has a 400W Coherent RF tube.

I can tell you that the design is so complicated and there is no room left for us to repair, I mean everything is proprietary and parts are not easy to get.

The customer called Kern but received not much support because they said that it was a tube issue and asked him to call Coherent. When he called Coherent, they told him that he supposed not to open it up for repair. That's why he ended up calling me for support.

I wish I could help but I didn't get enough knowledge about the design and how the beam align. Once you change the setup, it could be a "never-ending" trouble unless I get support from Coherent, which is not reasonably possible.
